The 1/3rd County of London Yeomanry (Sharpshooters) left England in April 1915 and sailed to Egypt. In August, 1915 they went to Gallipoli but Alick Herring never made it that far. He died, from causes unknown, whilst in Egypt on 10th June, 1915. |
